A business in the United States can evaluate Agent Office on one machine of its own for 30 days, at no charge, to decide whether to buy. It is the same release licensees get: no licence key, no activation, no phone-home.

How it works

Ask

Send the request below with your business's legal name, its US state, a contact, and the machine you will use.

Accept

We email an Evaluation Confirmation naming your business and the start and end dates. Someone who can bind your business replies to accept.

Download

We send a time-limited download link for the release. If it expires before you use it, ask for another.

Install

Install on your dedicated machine and walk the onboarding wizard. Until the grant is accepted, you may not install or run the software.

Before you install

  • A dedicated machine. Ubuntu 24.04 LTS on x86_64, root, systemd and outbound HTTPS during the install. 4 GB of RAM and 20 GB of free disk are the minimum; the reference boxes have 16 GB. If you buy, the evaluation machine becomes your production machine as it is, so size it for that. See hardware.
  • Your models. One model provider you can test (an API key) or a model server of your own. The wizard will not finish until at least one provider passes its test. Model spend is yours, billed by the provider, never by us.
  • Which data you test with. Anything you send to a cloud model provider reaches that provider, as it would in production. If rules limit who may receive your clients' data (for example a tax preparer's duties on tax return information, or health information), evaluate with fictional data or with local models only, unless you already hold the consents those rules require.
  • An owner. Decide who holds the owner role. The owner signs in with a second factor (have an authenticator app ready), holds the PIN for the most sensitive actions, and approves what leaves the company.

A plan for the 30 days

  1. Week 1: install, walk the wizard with a starter pack close to your business, keep every channel at approve, set a low monthly budget, and approve a first message to an address you control (the path to a first approved message is the one still being verified end to end).
  2. Week 2: approve and reject drafts, try an action that asks for your PIN, read your decisions in the audit log and verify the chain, engage and release the kill switch, and watch a budget refuse a call.
  3. Week 3: run a backup and a restore test, read ao doctor, and give the security whitepaper to whoever reviews IT or compliance for you.
  4. Week 4: decide. Is the machine big enough? What did model spend come to? Does the approvals flow suit the owner?

What counts as production

Production use is not allowed during an evaluation. It means any of these:

  • sending, publishing or delivering anything the software or its AI employees produce to anyone outside your business, other than test messages to addresses and accounts your business controls;
  • using what it produces in your real dealings with clients, customers, suppliers, regulators or the public, including by copying it out by hand;
  • doing work for, or giving access to, anyone other than your own business, its staff and its contractors (including an IT provider) acting for it;
  • running more than one instance or machine, or running it after the end date.

You may use your own real data and connect your real channel accounts to test them, at your own risk. Keep channels at approve, so no message leaves without a person's approval.

At the end of 30 days

If you buy

Buy before the end date, from us or an authorised partner. The paid licence replaces the evaluation from its start date, and nothing on the machine changes: no reinstall, no key, no activation, no data migration. Pricing.

If you don't

Within 7 days after the end date, uninstall and delete our material: the release, the download file and the program files. The uninstaller archives everything and deletes nothing, and your own data stays yours: databases, messages, documents, backups and the pack text you wrote. The software does not lock itself; stopping is part of the terms, not a mechanism in the code.

What we receive

Nothing from the machine. No component reads a licence key, checks a date or contacts Agent Office LLC, and there is no telemetry and no update check. You do not report your use, and we have no access to the machine. The only request from the machine that can reach a server we run is the optional avatar download, and only if you start it.

Your request email, with what you tell us about your role, machine, models, team and IT provider, is used only to decide on and prepare the grant, and we delete it within 90 days after we issue or refuse the grant. Once a grant is issued we keep only its record: your business's name, the contact's name and email address, the start and end dates, and the dates we issued download links. We keep that for 24 months after the end date and then delete it, unless you buy. The service that hosts the release download records each download's IP address and time, as any web server does.

Through an IT provider. An IT provider can install and run the evaluation for you. The Evaluation Confirmation is still in your business's name, on a machine your business owns or controls, and your business holds the owner role.

This form does not send anything by itself: this site has no server that receives forms. Submitting opens your own email app with the request filled in, addressed to evaluate@agentoffice.work. Nothing is sent until you press Send there.

If your email app does not open, write to that address with the same details.

Evaluations are offered to businesses in the United States.
